Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR) and the host McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR), witnessed Barlow's softball squad prevail over McDaniel by a count of 12-2.

The Bruins now sport a 17-12 record. They play next when they travel to Westview for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 22. Barlow will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 25-3.
