May 20, 2024: Thompson, ND 58278 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND) and the visiting Carrington Cardinals (Carrington, ND), witnessed Thompson's softball squad prevail over Carrington by a count of 17-0.
The Tommies now sport a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg for a Class B - Region 2 match on Tuesday, May 21. Thompson will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND). The Patriots record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Carrington moves to 6-5 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Thompson (Thompson, ND) to meet the Tommies in a Class B - Region 2 match on Tuesday, May 21.
