May 20, 2024: Carteret, NJ 07008 Carteret Ramblers (Carteret, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ), 21-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Ramblers now own a 9-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Governor Livingston for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Carteret will battle a Highlanders squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 18-7.
With the loss, Timothy Christian falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The travel to Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 23.
