Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA), 7-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Blacksburg advances its record to 16-3 on the season.

The Blue Demons now have a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hidden Valley for a River Ridge match on Thursday, May 22. Christiansburg will battle a Titans squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Titans record now stands at 12-5.
