The Otter Valley Otters (Brandon, VT) softball nipped the visiting Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT), 7-6 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Otters now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fair Haven for a SVL B outing on Thursday, May 22. Otter Valley will encounter a Slaters team coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Windsor (Windsor, VT). The Slaters record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Hartford moves to 7-3 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Rutland (Rutland, VT) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league outing on Friday, May 23. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 1-3.
