May 21, 2024: North Kingstown, RI 02852 Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) and the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), saw North Kingstown's baseball squad knock off Mt. Hope by a count of 5-1.
Coming up next, the Skippers play the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 1 (State) battle, on Wednesday, May 22. North Kingstown will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the battle with a 11-6 record after their 6-1 league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI).
The Huskies now possess a 3-16 record. They take the field next when they host Coventry for a Division 1 (State) battle on Thursday, May 23. Mt. Hope will play a Oakers squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 9-10.
