May 21, 2025: Crystal Lake, IL 60014 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) and the visiting Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), saw Crystal Lake South's baseball team beat Harvard by a margin of 9-2.
The Gators (21-11) will now prepare for their battle against Belvidere (Belvidere, IL). The Bucs enter the non-league battle with a 8-23 record. In their last battle, Belvidere was overwhelmed by Hononegah (Rockton, IL), 19-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Hornets face the Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 22. Harvard will attempt to improve on its 5-24 season record. The Hubs enter the battle with a 9-19 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Forreston (Forreston, IL).
