Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN), 12-7 in a league match.

With the triumph, Hammond Morton moves its record to 11-13 on the season. The Governors travel to Lowell (Lowell, IN) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league match on Thursday, May 22. The Red Devils come into the match with a record of 8-15. Lowell lost 9-6 in their recent league match against Hobart (Hobart, IN)

The Wolves now possess a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Station Edison for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 22.
