Missouri High School Baseball - Wheatland prevails Hermitage
May 21, 2025: Hermitage, MO 65668 The Wheatland Mules baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Hermitage Hornets to 1 in the Mules non-league win on Wednesday.
The Mules now hold a 31-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeland for a non-league test on Monday, May 26. Wheatland will play a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league win over Appleton City (Appleton City, MO). The Vikings record now stands at 21-9.
With the defeat, Hermitage drops to 10-10 on the year. The Hornets host Stoutland (Stoutland, MO) to play the Tigers in a Class 1 District 8 test on Wednesday, May 21. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 16-8.
