In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Lunenburg Blue Knights softball team scored a tight 4-2 win over the Ayer Shirley Panthers.

The Blue Knights (11-6) will now prepare for their match against St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA). The Bernardians come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record.
