Berne Union Rockets (Sugar Grove, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH), 7-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Berne Union upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Rockets travel to Northmor (Galion, OH) to battle the Golden Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 24. The Golden Knights come into the test with a record of 19-5. Northmor won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Fairfield Christian Academy (Lancaster, OH)

With the defeat, Newark Catholic falls to 18-8 on the season.
