New Jersey High School Baseball - Emerson nips Lenape Valley
May 22, 2023: Stanhope, NJ 07874 Emerson Cavaliers (Emerson, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Emerson upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) to battle the Aviators in a non-league test on Thursday, May 25. The Aviators come into the test with a record of 13-10. Hasbrouck Heights won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ)
With the defeat, Lenape Valley falls to 2-4 on the season.
