Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals confront the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 25. Union Academy will attempt to move on its 21-3 season record. The Villains enter the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 10-0 non-league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC).
