May 22, 2024: Foxborough, MA 02035 The Mansfield Hornets baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Foxborough Warriors to 4 in the Hornets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Hornets (14-6) will now prepare for their match against Milton (Milton, MA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Milton by Braintree (Braintree, MA), 11-9, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Foxborough falls to 8-12 on the season. The Warriors travel to Canton (Canton, MA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Hockomock - Davenport challenge on Friday, May 24.
