In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Western Branch Bruins baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Highland Springs Springers.

The Bruins (17-4) will now prepare for their game against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league game with a 15-6 record. In their last game, Grassfield overcame Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA), 11-1, in a non-league game.
