The Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) softball routed the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 7-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Knights (19-1) will now prepare for their bout against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 15-5 record. In their last bout, Deep Creek held off Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA), 9-4, in a non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a Southeastern bout on Wednesday, May 22. Great Bridge will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 16-2.
