Maine High School Softball - Winslow knocked off by Mount View
May 22, 2024: Thorndike, ME 04986 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), by a margin of 13-3.
With the triumph, Mount View moves its record to 4-12 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to play the Huskies in a Class C North contest on Saturday, May 25. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 6-6. Maine Central Institute lost 6-5 in their recent non-league contest against Erskine Academy (South China, ME)
In their next game, the Black Raiders play the Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME) in a Class B North contest, on Friday, May 24. Winslow will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 21-0 league loss to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME).
