The Taft Eagles baseball squad (Chicago, IL), was overwhelmed 12-8 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL)

With the triumph, Kaneland moves its record to 23-9 on the season. The Knights host Batavia (Batavia, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Friday, May 23. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 13-17.

The Eagles now possess a 16-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheeling for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 24. Taft will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-19.
