The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) and the host Central East Bengals (Fresno, CA), observed Buchanan's softball team get by Central East by a tally of 6-4.

The Bears (23-9) will now prepare for their bout against Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Broncos go into the non-league bout with a 21-5 record. In their last bout, Clovis North tipped Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA), 10-3, in a non-league bout.
