May 23, 2022: Wellesley, MA 02481 Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they observed their softball team edge the visiting Walpole Rebels (Walpole, MA), 8-5 in a league game.
With the triumph, Wellesley moves its record to 4-5 on the year.
In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 25. Walpole will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record. The Wamps come into the game with a 9-9 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Newton South (Newton, MA).
