New York High School Softball - Alfred-Almond nipped by Notre Dame Academy
May 23, 2023: Staten Island, NY 10301 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Notre Dame Academy Gators (Staten Island, NY) and the visiting Alfred-Almond Eagles (Almond, NY), saw Notre Dame Academy's softball squad nip Alfred-Almond by a count of 3-2.
The Gators now sport a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keshequa for a non-league match on Thursday, May 25. Notre Dame Academy will face a Indians squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Fillmore (Fillmore, NY). The Indians record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Alfred-Almond falls to 11-3 on the campaign.
