Rhode Island High School Softball - Classical topped by Rogers
May 23, 2023: Newport, RI 02840 The Rogers Vikings softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Classical Purples to 4 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Rogers moves its record to 5-13 on the year.
In their next game, the Purples play the Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division 3 game, on Thursday, May 25. Classical will attempt to move on its 0-15 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 13-6 record after their 9-3 league loss to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI).
