East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 19-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Old Bridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 26. East Brunswick will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Monroe Township falls to 1-7 on the campaign.
