The Knightstown Panthers softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting New Castle Trojans to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edinburgh for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 27. Knightstown will encounter a Lancers team coming off a 17-1 league win over Waldron (Waldron, IN). The Lancers record now stands at 16-10.

With the loss, New Castle moves to 10-11 on the season. The Trojans travel to Yorktown (Yorktown, IN) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 27.
