Illinois High School Softball - Seneca bounces Hall
May 24, 2021: Seneca, IL 61360 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) and the visiting Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL), witnessed Seneca's softball squad tip Hall by a count of 15-9.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Marquette for a Tri-County match on Tuesday, May 25. Seneca will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Hall moves to 2-19 on the season. The Red devils host Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to face the Comets in a Three Rivers match on Tuesday, May 25. The Comets go into the match with a record of 5-9.
