Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Western upgrades its record to 23-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, May 25. The Indians come into the test with a record of 16-11. Twin Lakes won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN)

With the defeat, North Montgomery falls to 16-13 on the season.
