Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Portsmouth upgrades its record to 23-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to Fairland (Proctorville, OH) to battle the Dragons in a non-league test on Thursday, May 30. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 14-14.

With the defeat, Lynchburg-Clay falls to 15-9 on the season.
