In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) baseball squad the visiting Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), by a final score of 4-2.

With the win, Nitro upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to South Charleston (South Charleston, WV) to encounter the Black Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 27. The Black Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-12.

With the defeat, Ripley falls to 8-15 on the season. The Vikings host Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV) to encounter the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 26.
