In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Saucon Valley Panthers baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the North Schuylkill Spartans.

The Panthers (17-2) will now prepare for their game against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 18-5 record. In their last game, Pine Grove tipped Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA), 8-3, in a non-league game.
