Illinois High School Baseball - Joliet West gets by Thornton Fractional South
May 25, 2023: Joliet, IL 60435 Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL), 5-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Joliet West upgrades its record to 23-9 on the season. The Tigers host Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to battle the Griffins in a non-league test on Saturday, May 27. The Griffins come into the test with a record of 28-8. Lincoln-Way East won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL)
With the defeat, Thornton Fractional South falls to 21-14 on the season.
