Shore Regional Blue Devils (West Long Branch, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting South Amboy Governors (South Amboy, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Shore Regional upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ) to battle the Bluejays in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 30. The Bluejays come into the test with a record of 2-0. Middlesex won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ)

With the defeat, South Amboy falls to 6-5 on the season.
