Iowa High School Softball - English Valleys nudges East Marshall
May 25, 2024: Le Grand, IA 50142 English Valleys Bears (North English, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Iowa Valley for a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Tuesday, May 28.
With the loss, East Marshall falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Newton (Newton, IA) to face the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 28. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Newton won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA)
