May 25, 2025: Reading, MA 01867 In Sunday's non-league test, the Concord-Carlisle Patriots (Concord, MA) softball squad got by the host Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA), by a tally of 6-5.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA) in a Dual County Large test, on Monday, May 26. Concord-Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Grey Ghosts go into the test with a 7-11 record after their 9-4 league win over Newton South (Newton, MA).
The Rockets (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA). The go into the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, Pentucket Regional held off Haverhill (Haverhill, MA), 7-0, in a non-league test.
