Connecticut High School Softball - Killingly edges Stonington
May 25, 2025: Stonington, CT 06379 The Killingly Redmen softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Stonington Bears to 8 in the Redmen league win on Sunday.
The Redmen now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fitch for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 27. Killingly will confront a Falcons team coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Stonington moves to 6-7 on the season. The Bears travel to Ledyard (Ledyard, CT) to confront the Colonels in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 27. The Colonels come into the battle with a record of 18-3. Ledyard won 23-4 in their recent non-league battle against Putnam (Putnam, CT)
