May 26, 2022: Huntersville, NC 28078 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), saw Christ the King's soccer squad get by Bishop McGuinness by a count of 1-0.
The Crusaders now hold a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Union Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 31. Christ the King will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 22-0.
With the loss, Bishop McGuinness drops to 18-5 on the season.
