Wisconsin High School Softball - Newman bounces Pacelli
May 26, 2022: Wausau, WI 54401 Newman Fighting Cardinals (Wausau, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pacelli Cardinals (Stevens Point, WI), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Fighting Cardinals now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edgar for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 31. Newman will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Three Lakes/Phelps (Three Lakes, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Pacelli falls to 5-4 on the campaign.
