May 26, 2023: Hoquiam, WA 98550 Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Deer Park Stags (Deer Park, WA), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Grizzlies now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host Deer Park for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 26. Hoquiam will battle a Stags squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA). The Stags record now stands at 17-4.
With the loss, Deer Park falls to 19-6 on the campaign. The Stags travel to Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 26. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 14-2. Hoquiam lost 8-7 in their recent league challenge against Montesano (Montesano, WA)
