Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), 15-4 in a league test.

With the win, Starmount upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Rams host West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC) to battle the Blackhawks in a test on Tuesday, June 1. The Blackhawks come into the test with a record of 5-1. West Wilkes won 3-1 in their recent league test against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC)

With the defeat, East Wilkes falls to 2-6 on the season. The Cardinals host Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC) to battle the Huskies in a test on Tuesday, June 1. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 3-3. Ashe County 3-3 in their recent league test against Starmount (Boonville, NC)
