Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Langley Saxons (McLean, VA), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a Liberty challenge, on Tuesday, June 1. Yorktown will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 6-1 league loss to South Lakes (Reston, VA).

The Saxons now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Lakes for a Liberty challenge on Tuesday, June 1.
