May 27, 2024: Elliston, VA 24087 The Auburn Eagles held off the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Monday's non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Galax for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 29. Auburn will encounter a Maroon Tide squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Eastern Montgomery drops to 14-5 on the season.
