Iowa High School Baseball - Moravia nips Fairfield
May 27, 2025: Moravia, IA 52571 The Moravia Mohawks baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Fairfield Trojans to 6 in the Mohawks non-league win on Tuesday.
The Mohawks now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Melcher-Dallas for a Bluegrass - East test on Friday, May 30. Moravia will clash with a Saints team coming off a 12-1 league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Fairfield drops to 1-2 on the year. The Trojans host Central Lee (Donnellson, IA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 28. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 0-0.
