In Tuesday's non-league test, the Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the host Alma Panthers (Alma, MI), by a tally of 13-1.

Next, the Bluejays clash with the Dow Chargers (Midland, MI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 29. Shepherd will attempt to advance on its 20-11 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 24-8 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI).

The Panthers (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Reed City (Reed City, MI). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 9-19 record. In their last test, Reed City prevailed over Mason County Central (Scottville, MI), 12-5, in a non-league test.
