Lake Shore Shorians (St. Clair Shores, MI) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), 7-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lake Shore upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Shorians host Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI) to play the Huskies in a Macomb Area - White game on Thursday, May 29. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 4-8.

The Blue Devils now own a 25-8 record. They play next when they travel to L'Anse Creuse for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 28. Grosse Pointe South will play a Lancers squad coming off a 14-10 non-league win over Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 8-11.
