Massachusetts High School Softball - Reading Memorial bounces Concord-Carlisle
May 28, 2022: Concord, MA 01742 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) and the host Concord-Carlisle Patriots (Concord, MA), saw Reading Memorial's softball squad nip Concord-Carlisle by a count of 7-1.
The Rockets now sport a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they host Burlington for a Middlesex match on Tuesday, May 31. Reading Memorial will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA). The Red Devils record now stands at 19-1.
With the loss, Concord-Carlisle falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Patriots host Lowell (Lowell, MA) to face the Red Raiders in a non-league match on Sunday, May 29. The Red Raiders enter the match with a record of 15-4. Lowell won 5-0 in their recent non-league match against Newton South (Newton, MA)
