May 28, 2024: Sigourney, IA 52591 The Davis County Mustangs baseball team (Bloomfield, IA), was overwhelmed 18-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA)
The Savages now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iowa Valley for a South Iowa Cedar outing on Wednesday, May 29. Sigourney will confront a Tigers team coming off a 9-3 league win over English Valleys (North English, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) in a South Central outing, on Thursday, May 30. Davis County will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
