In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) baseball squad edged the visiting St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA), by a final score of 3-2.

With the win, Point Loma upgrades its record to 19-8 on the season. The Pointers travel to Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, May 30. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 27-5. Bakersfield Christian won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA)

With the defeat, St. Francis falls to 19-15 on the season.
