May 28, 2024: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) and the visiting Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), saw Grosse Pointe South's soccer squad triumph over Roosevelt by a margin of 8-0.
The Blue Devils now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Fordson for a non-league test on Thursday, May 30. Grosse Pointe South will meet a Tractors squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Western International (Detroit, MI). The Tractors record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Roosevelt drops to 11-11 on the season.
