E.O. Smith/Tolland Bucks (Storrs, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bucks now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newtown for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 29. E.O. Smith/Tolland will battle a Nighthawks squad coming off a 13-10 non-league win over Staples (Westport, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Shelton falls to 9-12 on the campaign.
