Connecticut High School Softball - Griswold nudges Northwestern Regional
May 28, 2024: Griswold, CT 06351 Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolverines now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bacon Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 29. Griswold will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 16-5.
With the loss, Northwestern Regional falls to 11-11 on the campaign.
