May 28, 2025: Hudson, IA 50643 The AGWSR Cougars baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Hudson Pirates to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cougars now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Marshall for a North Iowa Cedar - West test on Thursday, May 29. AGWSR will play a Mustangs team coming off a 12-9 non-league win over Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Hudson drops to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates host Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, May 29. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 1-0. Wapsie Valley won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
